During the weekend of Carnival in Cologne, I went away to Munich. I did this with the intention of staying away from the drunk crowds and exploring somewhere in Germany I had never seen before. However, the mood of my weekend became pretty complicated because on the day I went to Munich war had broken out between Russia and Ukraine.  Overall I enjoyed my time and managed to capture beautiful and interesting sights of the city but at the same time, I couldn't help but feel guilty that I am able to do this while war has just broken out not so far away.
